Attorney Loochkartt is fluent in Spanish, giving her a strong ability to serve a multitude of clients anywhere that they live. She receives her bachelor's degree in International Relations and German from Florida State University in 1989, and her law degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 1993. After six years of practicing law with other attorneys in Broward County, she opened the law office of June Loochkartt in 2000 at her current offices in Plantation, Florida.

Bench and Trial Experience in State and Federal Courts

Attorney Loochkartt is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. She has the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. She has been in Florida Supreme Court Certified Guardian Ad Litem since 1994. She has served in Florida Bar Grievance Committees 17B and 17H, as well as having membership in the Broward County Bar Hispanic Association.

Attorney Loochkartt has extensive bench and jury trial experience, including the defense of serious felonies, up to and including work on murder trials. She also has experience handling appeals filed with the Florida District Court.

Because she recognizes that trial can be costly, and knows the emotional impact of a trial, she always works at settling cases whenever possible. At the same time, she will not hesitate to try a case and protect her client's rights when that is the necessary course to take in a case.

Among other things, Attorney Loochkartt has:

  • Handled Bench and Jury trials and mediation settlement conferences and contract negotiations of substantial property division issues for clients, including real estate holdings, businesses, pension distributions, stock options, and other employee benefits.
  • She conducted felony criminal jury trials, including all aspects of pretrial practice, bond hearing, motion practice, fourth amendment issues, depositions, jury selections, and trial and post-verdict motions. Selection of multiple defendant jury panels in twelve defendant state court indictment. Representation of defendants in complex litigation defense.  
  • Represented parents in Chapter 39 proceedings from shelter petitions, adjudicatory hearings, and termination of parental rights retrials.
